Burning Safety
Burning your candle correctly will allow you to have a safe and full experience and along with extending the ambiance of your candle.
- Candles should be lit in a well-ventilated room away from any fans or draft as this can disturb the flame and vessel.
- Allow your candle to burn for 1-2 hours on the first burn to achieve a full melt pool. If you don't do this your candle might tunnel!
- Always trim your wick after each burn to at lease 1/4 inches and remove all trimmings. This will prevent soothing (burning marks on the vessel) and helps prevent uneven burning. You can trim the wick using a wick trimmer or scissors.
- If you ever feel uncomfortable around an open flame candle it’s better to be safe and put the flame out using the correct tools.
